When I am coaching new salesman one of my favorite parts of the course is showing them this clip from Glen Garry Glen Ross.
Alec Baldwin makes one of his best performances in this great scene.
The three salesmen he speaks to have had a hard time and instead of taking care of it themselfs, blames the company, the leads and everything else imaginable.

Alec shows them the hard plain truth.
This scene really takes the life of a salesman to the extreme but I still think the tips and mindset that are projected are worth listening to and respecting.
